Puente Mayorga water pipes 'leaking for weeks'

(Photo: EuropaSur) The water pipe that transfers water from the Guadarranque reservoir to supply ships for Ceuta has been leaking for almost a month, according to reports. San Roque Council accuses the Agencia Andaluza del Agua of neglecting their calls for immediate repair. Councillors Salvador Romero and Manuel Melero have declared that, "with the media talking about the need to save water" it is shameful that the water authorities are doing nothing about it. "They could at least cut it off while no water is being shipped," adds Romero.
