(Agencies)The environmentalist goup Verdemar-Ecologists en Acción have warned that work being carried out in Gibraltar for the new airport and extension of the port 'could have repercussions for the natural dynamics of the coastline in La Línea'. Their spokesperson, Antonio Muñoz, has sent a letter to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, requesting information on the subject. "The latest news we have is that Spain was to ask for an environmental impact report on both these sites," said Muñoz in a written statement last week.
