Opposition: 'firm stance' on Gib waters incursions

GIBRALTAR
(Agencies) The GSLP/Liberal spokesperson, Joseph García, stated yesterday that "the Opposition is concerned that the incursions by Spanish patrol boats into the territorial waters of Gibraltar continue to happen almost on a daily basis," according to the Gibraltar Chronicle. "It is totally unacceptable that the agencies of the Spanish Government continue to enter and leave the territorial waters of Gibraltar as if our waters belong to them," added García, referring to an eyewitness report of the presence of a Spanish patrol boat in the Western Beach area, which left when approached by an RGP launch. HYe asked Government for a 'firm stance' on the matter.
