LA LÍNEA (Agencies) The group formed in La Línea to oppose the Council's proposed 'congestion tax', Grupo Antipeaje, has won the support of the federation of neighbourhood associations and has called for a demonstration this evening at the frontier with Gibraltar. The demonstration is also supported by opposition parties. Izquierda Unida's spokesperson criticized Mayor Alejandro Sánchez's use of Gibraltar as, "the cause of our Town Hall's bankruptcy, and which has nothing to do with the PP's abonimable management since 1999, which has put us into debt to the tune of, as far as we know, €130 millions."
