And Peanuts is 60 ...

Peanuts
He never, ever won a baseball game. At 60, he still doesn't understand girls (who does?). His dog Snoopy came to his house one day after he was born at the hands of Charles Schultz, who never allowed anyone else to draw his strip. In fact, the comic strip stopped appearing regularly on February 13, 2000, the day after Schultz died. Peanuts was born on October 2, 1950, in a Minnesota newspaper and as part of a strip called Li'l Folks. Schultz was 24.
