Sotogrande sales down by 44%

SOTOGRANDE (Agencies) According to a statement issued to the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (Stock Exchange controller), the NH Group, owners of Sotogrande, sales for the San Roque luxury resort over the firstnine mopnths of the year totalled €6.48 million, against the €11.59 for the same period in 2009. This represents a year-on-year downturn of 44%. Income classified as 'tourism'  were also down, by 18%. Home and apartment sales for the third quarter of the year amounted to €2.28 million, for 6 homes, against sales of 20 homes in the same period last year, which amounted to €9.53 millions.
