16 year old driver plunges over cliff

GIBRALTAR (Text & Photo: GibChronicle) A 16-year old boy had a narrow escape from death yesterday after the car he was driving smashed through a wall on Sir Herbert Miles Road and plummeted to the rocky shore below. The heavily damaged car was still on the rocks yesterday afternoon and its battered chassis left little doubt as to the severity of the crash. The boy, who is of Moroccan descent, was rescued by firemen and taken to hospital but he had sustained no major injuries. (Note: How much does it matter what origin the boy is? Is it relevant to the story? Is this just another show of the notorious discrimination held against that community in Gibraltar? Your comments, please!)
