Language lessons without having to go to class

SAN ROQUE (Agencies) The Escuela Oficial Idiomas (EOI, Official Language School) in San Roque is to offer what they call 'semi-presential' lessons next school year. This means that lessons combine the need for the student's presence in a classroom for a 90-minute period once a week, with further work carried out at home in a 'virtual' classroom under the supervision of a tutor and designed expressly for the purpose. Pre-registration is open until March 31 for this type of learning, either online or at the school; there are a series of requirements, including that of being over 18. The EOI enjoys a considerable reputation, garnered over 22 years. It is one of only 51 such centres in Andalucía to offer Spanish for Foreigners, for instance.
