Local Police denounce three of the force's own cars for being uninsured

LOS BARRIOS (Agencies) The municipal coffers here are not getting any fuller here either. The Local Police had to denounce, or report, three of the force's own cars for not being insured. They were parked at the Council doors all day yesterday (photo: EuropaSur). The only other vehicle available is owned by the Council but was in the shop for repairs to the brakes. This meant that the Local Police had to do their job on foot and Palmones, Guadacorte and Los Cortijillos were not patrolled. However, this is not the first time such a thing has happened in the area: the Local Police in La Línea had to use buses last year for similar reasons. Mayor Juan Montedeoca only heard about it all after a call from a local newspaper.
