ZARAGOZA/Casablanca (Agencies) The National Police is investigating the disappearance of €1,500,000 in cash from a Cistercian, cloistered community (photo). The nuns kept the money in plastic bags, mostly in €500 notes, inside a wardrobe. Investigation is centered not only on the robbery but also on the source of the money, according to El Periódico de Aragón. The incident took place on Monday, February 28, when the nuns called the police at about 7.30am to report that there had been a break-in and a 'considerable amount of money had disappeared'. On being asked, the nuns said that the money was 'a lifetime of savings'.
