Private and public enterprise receive credits for new business projects

CAMPO DE GIBRALTAR (Press release) The President of the Mancomunidad de Municipios, Isabel Beneroso (photo), this morning attended a meeting of the Re-Industrialization Plan for 2011 Commission. The commission approved credits for small and medium businesses (pymes) for a total of €32,229,110, that are expected to generate at least 169 jobs in the area this year. The loans go to 42 private enterprises that last year presented business plans and other documents to the commission. These are distributed as follows: 5 for Tarifa, 11 for Los Barrios, 5 for La LĂnea, 8 for San Roque, 1 for Jimena and 12 for Algeciras. As for the public sector, the Industry Ministry has approved credits of 3,718,320 for 5 projects, among which is one from the area's public company Arcgisa, for a project called Ecoparque Sur de Europa. Beneroso pointed out that measures such as these are very important to the development of the Campo, where business development needs a significant bopost from private enterprise above all.
