Two million children die every year for lack of access to water

Today is World Water Day. This year the 'subheading' is: Water for Cities: Responding to the Urban Challenge. There are 141 million people who do not have access to drinking water in the cities of the world. Somewhere on the globe, one person arrives to live in a city every two seconds. More people live in cities than anywhere else. You can read more about it, as a fascinating snapshot. You can understand more by going to The World Water Day website. But what can you do about it? Find out here. (Note: We sometimes wonder about all these 'world' days, and ignore most of them, but we felt this one needs some attention.)
