Area reservoirs begin summer at 96% capacity

CAMPO DE GIBRALTAR (Agencies) At the end of May, the reservoirs that supply the Campo de Gibraltar registered 96.3% of their total capacity, slightly below last year's figures of 98.81%. In any case, this is 23 percentage points above the average for this time of year over the last ten years: 74.8%. Thus, Guadarranque is 98.7% full, with 86.5 Hm3 of its total capacity of 87.7Hm3; Charco Redondo, 93.3% (76.10Hm3 of 81.6); and Almodóvar, 951% (5.42 Hm3 of 5.7).
