Guardia Civil arrested for carrying over 200 grammes of hash

CEUTA (Agencies) A Guardia Civil arriving from Algeciras on one of the last ferries of the day, was arrested by members of his own force when he was found to be carrying over 200g of hashish in several small packets. According to a release from the GC, the incident happened last Friday night at the port, when the detainee aroused suspicion among Customs officers stationed there. The man was stopped, identified and searched. On finding the drug, the man was arrested and charged with a 'crime against public health' (the phrase used for this kind of crime).
