Seized: 106,602 bottles of false vodka headed for Costa del Sol

ALGECIRAS (Agencies) Guardia Civil and Customs agents seized 106,602 bottles of fake vodka on Monday. A routine inspection of containers revealed the haul that was in transit at the port, ready to be picked up and delivered to the Costa del Sol. The container came from the port of Kaliningrad in Russia, with documents naming a business on the Costa, whose manager was arrested and accused of obtaining and attempting to sell or distribute fake merchandise, as well as what in Spain is known as 'crimes against health', more often used in drugs cases, but in this case about the lack of health authority approval of the drink.
