JEREZ (Agencies) When the next winter season begins on October 31, Jerez Airport will have a mere six connections to other parts. Most of the airlines that have pulled out have alleged 'low viability'. Thus, the large investment in expanding the airport, mostly financed by the Ministry of Development, will remain far from profitable. As from November, Iberia's flights to/from Madrid and Ryan Air's to/from Barcelona will be the only ones within Spain. That, plus Air Berlin's connections with Germany via Palma de Mallorca and a weekly flight to Frankfurt by Condor are all that remain. Ryan Air will not be connecting with London, nor will Vueling fly to Barcelona.
