Businessman accuses Minister of corruption

MADRID If you looked carefully at our Today's Headlines of yesterday, you will have noticed that one of the country's leading newspapers was missing from the usual list. El Mundo did not appear on the list because it had been preparing a major scoop that involves Development Minister and vice-secretary general of the PSOE, José Blanco and a Galician businessman, who accuses the Minister of receiving €400,000 in cash and 'inflated bills'. In return, says the businessman, Jorge Dorribo, he obtained a credit for €5.6 million through the European Investment Bank. The matter is in the hands of theCourts in Lugo (Galicia).
