Exploding food myths

A large number of myths surround the nutritional value of certain foods. After much research and gaining and losing weight in approximately equal measure, we hereby offer you, Dear Reader, some truths that even we had trouble with accepting. Naturally, we can accept no responsibility for any medical or psychological conditions that may result from reading this article. Many of these myths are prevalent in Spain, and may seem somewhat surprising to the non-Spanish reader, but we look on this as a window into the culture of the country we have chosen as our home. The first myth we will be exploding is that bread is fattening - coming up on Tuesday next, and for another twelve Tuesdays after that: WATCH THIS SPACE!
