Spain heads European schooling failure and youth unemployment lists

One in three aged 15-24 leaves school before finishing secondary education
SPAIN The 2012 edition of the UNESCO Report on Education for All, published last week, says, among many other things, that one third of people in Spain between 15 and 24 left before getting a secondary school education. This compares to the European average of one in five, according to the report that tracks progress in education as set by the 2010 Dakar agreement, which sets objectives to be met by 2015. The report says that the data on Spain is 'worrying', given that the country has been 'severely hit' by the crisis, and where youth unemployment was at the 50% mark back in March.
