Remember this from just a few days ago? We said that this packet of cream crackers cost €1 one day, and a week later, it had gone up to €1.30 - when VAT went up by only 3%. We sent the item to TioJimeno, who published it on October 12. Surprise, surprise, a week after that, the item had gone down to €1.19 - which is still well above the VAT increase. Is this the power of the media? Or are we consumers getting fed up with the abuse? Do you have any other outrageous price rises? Send them in.
