VAT went up by how much?

This item was priced at €1 at the Ruiz Galán Supermarket in Jimena about ten days ago. Yesterday, it had gone up to €1.30 - an increase of more than 30%. Can anyone say why? This supermarket chain has a nasty habit of OTT-ing its prices.
