Eight advisory posts at Mancomunidad eliminated

Mancomunidad offices, Los Barrios
CAMPO DE GIBRALTAR Six political secretaries and two advisers have been eliminated from the payroll at Mancomunidad de Municipios, a move that could become the first in removing this level of local government, as has been mooted at higher levels in Madrid, as we reported here. The move means a savings of €182,056 a year. Each member of the different parties (PP, PSOE, IU, PA, USR) at Mancomunidad was paid €26,008 gross per year, except the two from the PA, who were paid half that amount. However, the PA also had one adviser, and the PP the other.
