SAN ROQUE (Agencies) The fire we reported about on Sunday was intentional, according to the Junta's Department of the Environment. By the time it was put out, some 50 hectares had been burned. The head of the fdepartment, Silvia López announced yesterday that she would be taking the matter to the prosecutor today. The area has been subject to fire for a number of years, according to a spokesperson for San Roque Council, who added, "Everyone knows what's going on here, year after year. They take advantage of the Poniente (Westerly) wind, and when there's a Levante (Easterly), they'll try it on Sierra Carbonera."
