(Agencies) Two oil exploration companies, Schuepbach Energy España S.L.U. and Vancast Exploración S.L, have applied to prospect for oil off the coast near Tarifa, according to several recent news reports. Things are so advanced, apparently, that the only thing they are waiting for is a report from the Ministry of Defence. This according to Salvador de la Encina, National Deputy and President of the Committee for Development there, who says, "Work will be carried out under strict environmental regulations. Explorations such as these have been carried out very cleanly elsewhere (Jerez and Doñana)."
