Local Police arrested a man, 69, on Wednesday, who crashed his car three times on A-7 underpass pillars in an attempt to kill himself and his wife. Both suffered minor injuries but he was taken by police to the mental health unit at Punta de Europa Hospital after a witness managed to remove the keys to his car. Police reports said that his wife knew nothing about any personal problems and that he will face a court for attempted homicide.
