ETA was storing almost 900 kilos of explosives

GUIPUZCOA/Legorreta (Agencies) Brothers Jose Aitor and Igor Esnaola Dorronsoro were arrested early on Monday morning. They were part of the so-called Erreka Command of ETA. After being detained the house they were living in was found to be storing some 850 kilos of ammonium nitrate, and about fifty of pentrite, used to reinforce the explosives, plus detonators of the brand and type often used by the Basque separatist terrorists. This large quantity (500 kilos was used to blow up Terminal 4 at Barajas airport  December 2006) was the largest since the terrorists announced a 'cease fire' in September last year and one of the largest in the history of modern Spain.
