The mother of two children, a boy aged 1 and a girl, 5, was arrested at 2pm this afternoon, after the children's bodies were found in a hotel room at Lloret de Mar (image) on the Costa Brava earlier this morning. The family was taking a short holiday at the Miramar Hotel. Sources say that the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalonian police) report that the children showed no signs of violence and their mother has confessed to killing them. The matter is under investigation.
