(Photo: illustration only) The Circus Association of Tarifa has just closed a series of workshops on various disciplines of the circus. The most popular and difficult among the youngsters attending of these was acrobatics, taken by two prfesssional acrobats, one Russian, the other, Cuban. Several months ago, members of the Tarifa association, Marcus von Wachtel and Sonia and Linda Birger, presented the Council with a project to create a municipal circus school, which was heard with much interest. Such a project may well be under way; Councillor for Youth Sonia Blanco says it is a very interesting leisure alternative for our teenagers, "bringing together sport, discipline and entertainment."
