Guadiaro resident accused in prostitution case

SAN ROQUE/Guadiaro (Agencies) A resident of Guadiaro, answering to the initials F.C., was arrested recently and accused of a prostitution-related offence. According to a National Police report, a Romanian woman made a statement whereby she said that, having established a relationship with the man and being promised a good income, she was told that the job was as a prostitute. At first she resisted the offer despite threats on her life. Eventually, fearing that the man would carry out his threats, the victim prostiuted herself for several days from the Incosur industrial estate. However, she could not continue to do so, and decided that she would report, or denounce, the man. The police's Immigration Rings and Falsification Unit then went into action to identify him, and discovered that F.C. was a resident of Guadiaro. He was arrested and is now 'at the disposal of the courts'.
