Tomorrow night at the Peña Flamenca in Jimena: Ziriab Flamenco-Jazz fusion

JIMENA The newly re-opened Peña Flamenca is hosting an interesting Flamenco-Jazz fusion concert tomorrow night, Friday 21st, starting at 10.30pm. The group, Ziriab, incorporates local cantaor José Bueno El Niño de los Brezos, who has added his voice to the group's two recordings.>
Starting out only two years ago in 2008 in in La Palma, Canary Islands, Ziriab is one of the fusion scene's most consistent groups,  its original formation having remained almost as it was then: Pedro Sanz (Spanish guitar); Alexander Sputh (acoustic guitar), Rafa Navarro (marimba and percussion), Carlos Costa (bass), Kike Perdomo (sax), Elena Diz (percussion) y José Bueno (voice). Entrance is €10 for non-members, and €5 for members of the Peña.
(Prospero note: I hear that a new, younger generation has taken over at the peña and that they are planning quite a few events that go beyond the more traditional style of the art but not leaving this behind. Might be worthwhile becoming a member, no? Ask them tomorrow.)
