NH to open 73-room hotel soon

ALGECIRAS The NH Hotel chain is planning to open a 73-room hotel on the Rinconcillo road sometime in May. Last minute details are being carried out at the 3-star establishment that the chain, which also owns Sotogrande and the Almenara and Sotogrande Hotels, as well as others it runs in Campamento, Las Marismas (photo) and Castellar. The building opposite the Cámara de Comercio, also houses the AC Hotel. In fact, NH does not own the new hotel but will be managing what will be called the NH Algeciras Suites because it can be considered an apart-hotel. The 73 rooms are divided as follows: 23 standard, 20 superior, 10 junior ssuites and ten junior apartments with kitchen, plus 8 de luxe fully-equipped penthouses. Four of the rooms are interconnectd and will offer facilities for the handicapped. The establishment will have a coffee shop with an outside terrcae, a gym and its own parking. Among the services it will offer are child care, free wi-fi, laundry and private safes at reception.
