JIMENA'S FERIA DE MAYO PROGRAMME IN ENGLISH

Programme

Friday, May 6
19.00 - 6th Los Alcornocales Cork Gatherers Competition
20.30 - Lights go on at fairground!
23.00 - Dancing at Municipal Marquee with music by Cat Forever Trío
23.00 - Opening of Youth Marquee

Saturday, May 7
11.00 - Opening of cattle market
12.00 - 13th Los Alcornocales Muleteers Competition
12.30 - Parade of riders from Estación to fairground, organized by Peña El Estribo. Prizes for best rider (male & female) in children and adult categories
20.00 - Traditional Donkey Race
21.00 - No horses, mules or donkeys may remain in fairground from this time on.
23.00 - Dancing at Municipal Marquee with music by Gato Negro
23.00 - Opening of the Youth Marquee

Sunday, May 8
From 8.30 to 10.00 - Registration for dog show and opening of canine     market, at Sports Pavilion
Followed by: 9th Jimena de la Frontera National Dog Show (Points     towards Andalucía Championship)
13.00 - 1st Doma Vaquera (Spanish Dressage) Competition
14.00 - Dancing at Municipal Marquee with music by Gato Negro, plus Coro Rociero concert
17.00 - Carrera de Cintas (Ribbon Race)
19.00 - Garrocha (Horse & Pole) exhibition/competition

Note: The organizers reserve the right to change or cancel any of the above events.
Prize-giving will be at the end of each competition.
