Caruana accepts invitation yo visit La Linea

GIBRALTAR (GibChronicle) Chief Minister Peter Caruana has welcomed the gesture by the new Mayor of La Linea Gemma Araujo in physically dismantling the bordillo (curb stones) erected by the previous incumbent as part of an infamous road-toll proposal. Mr Caruana confirmed that he had accepted an invitation by Sra Araujo to pay an official visit to the La Linea Ayuntamiento in early July. Mr Caruana looked ahead to the establishment of good cross-border relations with La Linea for the benefit of Citizens including maximising potential for the airport which had been blocked during Alejandro Sanchez’s term of office.
