Tarifa, among top 25 Spanish destinations

SPAIN/TARIFA (Agencies) A total of nine places in Andalucía are among the top 25 spots chosen by users of Tripadvisor.es. They are: the capital cities of Granada, Sevilla, Cádiz, Córdoba and Málaga, and in the provinces of  Málaga, Ronda and Marbella, and Cádiz, Rota and Tarifa. Spain is currently the fourth country receiving most foreign tourists, behind France, the USA and China, according to the UN World Tourism Organization. Tripadvisor's website classifies the most popular destinations via a 'Traveller's Choice' section, which collects opinions, recomendations and suggestions from its users. The list for Spain also includes Barcelona, Cadaqués, Lloret de Mar and Sitges in Catalonia, Santiago de Compostela and La Coruña in Galicia, San Sebastián and Bilbao in the Basque Country, Palma and Ibiza on the Balearic Islands, Salamanca and Segovia in Castilla León, and, lastly, Toledo, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Valencia and Madrid. The website says that favourite world destinations are Capetown, at the top of the list, followed by Sidney, Machu Pichu (Peru), Paris, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Rome, London and, in ninth place, Barcelona. This last list is collected from Tripadvisor's world sites.
