ALGECIRAS (Agencies) The South entrance to Algeciras was closed off yesterday afternoon when a large trailer truck overturned as it passed under the bridge at Los Pastores on its way to the port on the A-7. The driver was hurt -witnesses say his arm appeared to be broken- and he was taken to the Punta de Europa Hospital. It tooktwo large cranes most of the afternoon to sort things out, causing several kilometers of traffic. Both lanes of the A-7 had to be closed, so flow was reduced to one lane each way on the opposite side of the road.
