GIBRALTAR (chronicle.gi)
A 58-year old man drowned off Eastern beach yesterday. The man is local but resident in the UK, police said. He died despite efforts to revive him, both at the scene of the incident and at St Bernard’s Hospital. Police are investigating the death but the man did not have any injuries and no foul play is suspected. A post mortem will be carried out today to establish the cause of death. The Coroner was informed, as is standard procedure in such cases.
