(By e-mail, from11/08/09) An excellent photo sent in by Val Jubb with the following message: “I attach a photo of a goat who appears to be stuck on these rocks. He has been there for 3 days now! Are the vultures eyeing him up for their dinner?? Can anything be done to help the goat?” A possible answer: Goats are good climbers, but the old ones usually leave their flock to die on their own. The goat was rescued but it came back again. We never heard any more about it, though.
