'Laws are like women. They are there to be violated' says politician

In charge of Spanish emigrants' affairs
MADRID The horrible, brainless phrase was pronounced earlier last week by José Manuel Castelao Bragaña, President of the Consejo General de la Ciudadanía en el Exterior, a consultative agency of the Ministry of Labour, and former PP deputy in Madrid. He was forced to resign from his post (to which he had been named a mere four days before his pronouncement) and from the PP in Galicia, on Friday, saying that he had been misinterpreted. Comments in the media and on social networks can be imagined. (Note: violada in Spanish, means raped.)
