Prostitution ring arrested in Algeciras
The National Police Unit Against Immigration Rings and False Documentation arrested a couple accused of running a prostitution ring in Algeciras. After obtaining evidence from several women and court orders, the police raided 4 flats where they found 8 women who were allegedly being exploited by the couple. S.G.V, 44, Spanish, and N.D.L, 33, Brazilian, were taken into custody after the raid rendered computers, mobile phones and other evidence that supposedly shows that the women were extensively controlled and threatened so that they would be available 24/7. It was evidence from some of the victims that got the investigation under way in early November.
