(Gibraltar Chronicle) An unemployed Spanish man was remanded in custody after he admitted stealing from a house in the Upper Town area (photo) and from a local pharmacy. A burglary occurring at a residence in the old town was reported to police on December 20, 2009. A play station console and games were reported stolen by the occupier. Entry had been gained via an insecure door. As a result of enquiries carried out by detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Gibraltar Police, a Spanish man familiar to the residence was suspected of having committed this crime.
