Scott Harrison, disgraced world boxing champ in Algeciras prison, faces trial for brothel bust-up

ALGECIRAS (Agencies) Scott Harrison, the disgraced world boxing champ serving time at the Botafuegos prison in Algeciras, who had applied to be transferred to Glasgow's Barlinnie prison (as we reported on CampoPulse), is now facing a second trial on another case. This one allegedly happened at a Costa del Sol brothel in Alhaurín el Grande; Harrison is accused of attacking another man with a broken bottle, together with two mates. This move to serve time in Scotland will have to be postponed if not cancelled altogether. He is now serving time for a similar incident at the same night spot in 2009, and now faces charges for another one in 2007. His hopes of being moved to Glasgow have been dashed and "Scott's obviously taken it pretty badly. He feels as if he's in complete limbo at the moment," according to The Scottish Sun. He was originally imprisoned in the jail at Alhaurín, where he earned what in Spain is called 'the third degree' that allows him out at specified periods. However, he lost that privilege after returning extremely drunk from one furlough, and was transferred to Botafuegos to serve out a 30 month term that now looks to be extended.
