Transfer of Scottish boxing champ in Algeciras prison to UK delayed by 'legal wrangle'

ALGECIRAS (Agencies) Boxing champion Scott Harrison, of Cambuslang, near Glasgow, was jailed in April 2009 for brutal assaults on a policeman and a factory worker. According to The Scottish Sun, Harrison, 33, was set to be transferred to a prison in Scotland in time for Christmas in a prison switch scheme, having applied to Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill to serve the rest of his sentence closer to his fiancée Stacey Gardner, 27, and their toddler son Jack. His legal team fear the move hasn't happened because of red tape. In the meantime, Harrison is a guest of His Majesty the King's at Botafuegos, the jail in Algeciras (photo).
