Councillor for Security Gabriel Gonzálvez said that the Local Police is now searching for the car and driver. The woman, who was with her husband, was first taken to the La Línea Hospital and later transferred to the neurosurgery unit at Puerta del Mar Hospital in Cádiz, where her prognosis is described as 'reserved'. She was attended at the scene by an 061 ambulance (photo after the event), as well as the Local and National Police.
