GIBRALTAR (Gibraltar Chronicle) A lorry got pinned under a bridge on Line Wall Road as it travelled on Corral Road yesterday afternoon, forcing police to close off the road. An extendable pneumatic grab mounted on the truck hooked one of the bridge’s supporting girders, causing the wheels to lift off the ground and crushing the cabin roof. Police and highways officials did a swift job: the vehicle was freed in little over an hour. An investigation is currently under way.
