GIBRALTAR
(Gibraltar Chronicle) The Queen's Birthday Honours include two MBEs for Gibraltar. Joseph Louis Caruana (photo), Voluntary Social Worker, for services to drug rehabilitation in Gibraltar. Mr Caruana has been working to help drug addicts in Gibraltar and the Campo since 1987. He has also worked to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and been a volunteer at Nazareth House for over 11 years. The Reverend John Hill, the Command Chaplain, for his ‘invaluable services’ to the Handicapped Children’s Pilgrimage Trust (Royal Navy) and thereby ‘making a real difference to the lives of hundreds of Naval dependent children living in difficult circumstances.’ Rev Hill is at the King’s Chapel.
