SAN ROQUE / SOTOGRANDE Four people were arrested yesterday evening and 2,850 kilos of hashish confiscated in an operation that took place at sea near the port of Sotogrande. The Guardia Civil's SIVE (Servicio Integrado de Vigilancia Exterior) units from Málaga and Algeciras had been following a launch , headed towards the luxury resort, they suspected might be using the fog as camouflage. The 15m launch was finally boarded some 12 kms out to sea and taken to port, where 108 bales of hashish were discovered on board. The four people on board - P.V.C., I.J.N., C.F.D. and J.M., Spanish, British, French and Moroccan respectively - were placed 'at the disposal of the courts'.
