Double jeopardy with Blue Zone parking tickets

LA LÍNEA (Photo: illustration only) There are increasing reports about people being fined twice for parking offences in La Línea's Zona Azul (Blue Zone). Apparently, several people have received payment demands for up to €80 from Diputación (presumably  from the Recaudación, or tax, department of same) when they had already paid the fine drectly to the concessionary company, Isolux Corsán, on the same day. The fines all appear to be for the parking meters having timed out, payment for which is accepted by the company, thus saving a considerable sum. The solution is to present a receipt from the company at the local tax office.
