SAN ROQUE/CASTELLAR Two of the Campo's mayors, Fernando Palma of San Roque and Francisco Vaca of Castellar, have recently expressed themselves about Greg Norman's company, The Stripe Group, having bought the Valderrama Golf Club, continental Europe's best, from the Ortiz-Patiño family. Palma was pleased that the Andalucía Valderrama Masters (neé Volvo Masters) is still scheduled for October 28 to 31, while Vaca, for his part and having contacted Valderrama management, has said that the project for a 'second' Valderrama in Castellar is 'going ahead as planned'. This project, at La Cierva and La Guillena estates, remains in the hands of the original developers, the Ortiz-Patiños.
