Feetham in stable but serious condition

GIBRALTAR (Photo: GibChronicle) Daniel Feetham, the Justice Minister who was yesterday attacked viciously by a knife wielding man as he was walking with his family in broad daylight at the top of Library Street, is in serious but stable condition at St. Bernard's Hospital and, says a Convent Place statement, there is no fear for his life. The RGP is apparently not looking for anyone else, as the alleged attacker was arrested narby shortly after th incident. The man, according to reports, is a local Gibraltarian who is on bail in connection with an attempted murder charge dating back to last year. Police detectives and forensics experts worked at the scene for several hours after the attack, collecting physical evidence and taking witness statements. Blood smears on a white van (photo) parked on the hill bore testament to the violence of the attack.
