LA LÍNEA (Agencies / Photo: EuropaSur) The Councillor for Infrastructure, Manuel Aguilera has written to the Ministry of Development demand repairs to the Poniente (western) beach front road and pavements that were damaged during the recent storms. The Council says that 'yet again' has the damage occurred and that 'it happens often' in that area, where after every storm there is 'an accumulation of sand and stones on the pavement ... and other parts, which are dangerous to pedestrians and vehicles', if not more serious damage. In his letter Aguilera asks for 'a solution as soon as possible'. (Note: Does King Canute ring a bell?)
